World Keratoconus Day 10th November 2017

Today is World Keratoconus Day.

Only in its second year, the day is aimed at raising awareness about the eye condition and encouraging people who have Keratoconus to share their experiences.

Keratoconus is an eye condition that causes the cornea to thin and bulge into a cone-like shape. This change in shape causes light entering the eye to deflect and this in turns makes an unclear image on the retina, affecting eyesight. Specialist contact lenses can help and are available at Silverberg.

If you have Keratoconus, or want to learn more about it, please call in or contact us on 0151 709 2012.

More information also can be found on the Keratoconus Group website.
