We are an independent business, established 60 years ago, which means we’ve learned a lot about providing high-end customer care. You will receive the type of personal service only an independent store can offer and we also provide you with a full aftercare service. Our in-house glazing service means that even the most complex of prescription needs can be met. You benefit from our state of the art optical equipment to ensure we provide the best possible service.

Silverberg’s doesn’t just offer eye tests. We offer our customers the complete Eye Health Check.
We have a qualified Optometrist in store 5 days a week who can provide full private and NHS Eye Examinations.
All ages welcome, under 16 and over 60’s advised for a free test on the NHS every year, those in between are normally every 2 years unless otherwise advised. Retinal photography is part of every private eye examination and available for those on NHS.

A new piece of eyewear is an investment: An investment in your vision, an investment in your lifestyle and an investment in how others see you as well as enabling you seeing them. So we want you to get the most from it.
In the days and weeks to come you may feel that the frame needs further fitting or adjustment.
If so, we’d welcome you back in store to make sure they are perfect for you. Further ahead, we recommend that in six to twelve months you come in for a complementary eyewear service, to make sure your spectacles are still performing as best they can.
